New Features:
Secure Patient Messaging
Staff users and patients can now securely communicate within ExamRoom Live. Using Secure Messaging allows files to be sent back and forth on a HIPAA compliant medium, allowing patients to conveniently return intake forms, insurance cards, and referrals. The new module is called Secure Messaging and it is included in the Base Plan.
Appointment Scheduling
Schedule telehealth and In-Person appointments with the new scheduler. Patients will receive confirmation, reschedule, and cancellation via email.
General Chat
A General Chat room has been added to all accounts. New users with chat permissions are enrolled in the room. The room can be used as a way to discuss things that your entire team should be aware of like staffing schedules, patient updates, and more.
Bug Fixes and Performances Enhancements
- Added preferred practitioner to patient details so new appointments default to the preferred practitioner.
- Enhanced notifications for office chat
